CTI PFAN Launches Call for Proposals for AFRICEF-3

CTI PFAN is pleased to announce the Africa Forum for Clean Energy Financing 2014 (AFRICEF-3).
The AFRICEF-3 Business Plan Competition, to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa on 13th November 2014, will showcase promising clean energy projects from around the continent in front of Africa's leading investors. The Financing Forum actively seeks innovative projects that are financially viable, socially responsible and environmentally beneficial. This is the 3rd Forum for Clean Energy Financing to be held for Africa.

Please download Call for Proposals Flyer and Guidelines for the details of the competition.

CTI PFAN has hosted 12 Financing Forums, where 482 projects have been identified, 153 selected for one-on-one intensive coaching, with 106 projects showcased at these financing forums to potential investors and financiers. As a result, 25 projects have been closed with an approximate value of USD 254.5 million raised.

AFRICEF-3 is open to projects from all African countries, except ECOWAS states, with the main focus being on Southern, East and Central Africa. Foreign persons or companies with projects in these countries are also eligible. Projects developed by NGOs and not for profit organisations are eligible as long as the subject investment proposal is commercially construed.
