The search begins today for winners of the 2014 Ashden Awards, offering the chance for sustainable energy trailblazers in the UK and developing world to receive global recognition for their efforts and join an elite community of Ashden alumni. Entry to the Ashden Awards is free and the closing date is 5 November. Following the most rigorous judging process of any green award scheme we know of, in May next year a total of £210,000 in prize money will be awarded to 13 outstanding winners across four award categories. But the benefits of winning an Ashden Award go beyond the prize money. Unlike any other green awards scheme, Ashden also provides winners with a wide-ranging package of support, tailor-made to their needs.
